Hammerhead Shark

4.25

This shark's unusual name comes from the unusual shape of its head, an amazing piece of anatomy built to maximize the fish's ability to find its favorite meal: stingrays. A hammerhead shark uses its wide head to trap stingrays by pinning them to the seafloor. Their wide-set eyes give them a better panoramic visual range than most other sharks. This Hammerhead Shark is submerged in clear blue glycerin soap and measures 3-3/8 inched long, 2 inches wide, and 7/8 inch thick weighing 3.4 oz. Perfect party favors for a JAWS party or for your favorite Science Teacher.
